Owner, Acupuncturist
My approach to health care is multi-faceted. I am a Nationally licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist and East Asian Medicine practitioner, combining the wisdom from many different disciplines to address the unique health concerns of the individual, You! Graduating Summa Cum Laude from Dongguk University, and deepening my studies in herbal medicine and acupuncture in Beijing, China, have given me a rich foundation in this elegant medicine. I combine my degree in Holistic Nutrition and Complementary Medicine with over a decade's experience as a massage
therapist and yoga teacher to listen to and respond to the body as a whole.
I graduated from the American College of Healthcare Sciences in 2012, focusing primarily in Holistic Nutrition and Herbalism. After gaining some hands-on experience interning with herbalist and Naturopathic Dr. Katolen Yardley MNIMH in Vancouver, I moved to Big Sur to live, study and work at the Esalen Institute. During this year and a half immersion between the PCH and the Pacific ocean, I began my formal training as a yoga teacher and massage therapist, while interning with Dr. Randy Baker MD (homeopath and holistically oriented family physician). With many years experience working in private practice as a bodyworker I began my studies in Eastern medicine and Acupuncture at Dongguk University Los Angeles.
The health care industry has always fascinated me and as I navigated my own journey towards health and balance, I found myself looking for answers where there were often none - an overwhelming place that so many of us have found ourselves in. How is it that you can go to the doctor and be prescribed a test, a medication, a procedure and yet still not get better?
The body is an incredible vessel, and given the right circumstances it can heal from almost anything. Eastern medicine provides a framework from which to view the body, mind and spirit as a whole, thereby assessing the opportunities for nourishing deficiencies, invigorating blockages, and rebalancing disharmonies. From this supported place, the organism thrives.
It would be my pleasure to walk along this path of curiosity and discovery with you. Please do not hesitate to reach out should you have any questions about your particular situation. Check Availability

Acupuncturist
I am a California-licensed and nationally certified acupuncturist with a passion for providing high-quality and compassionate care to those seeking balance in mind, body, and spirit. I graduated from Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and furthered my training as an intern at the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences in Beijing, China. I also worked as an intern providing community acupuncture and TCM nutrition workshops at the USC Wellness Center at the historic General Hospital in downtown Los Angeles. My extensive experience enables me to provide care in pain and musculoskeletal issues, digestive concerns, stress and anxiety, insomnia, women’s health and fertility support, and more.
My journey into holistic health was sparked at a young age from reading pop-up anatomy books and books about health and spirituality that my parents gave me. Always curious and wanting to pursue my passions in more unconventional subjects, I earned by B.A. in Medieval and Renaissance Studies at New York University, studied massage therapy at The Swedish Institute, and embarked on a culinary training program to become a whole foods chef at The Natural Gourmet in New York City. Wondering where all of this would lead me, I can happily say now that all of these experiences have integrated well into my work as a Chinese medicine practitioner. It is with sincere dedication that I aim to support your well-being and continue to understand more deeply the complexities of modern day health issues and concerns so that I can help you achieve lasting, vibrant health.
Outside of my professional life, I love cooking, listening to and playing music, and spending time in nature. I also actively participate in Buddhist activities to help build community and connections with people while fostering peace, culture, and education. Check Availability

Acupuncturist
I am a licensed acupuncturist and herbal medicine specialist in Los Angeles and my principal areas of practice include chronic pain, mental health, substance abuse and women’s health. I graduated from the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland, CA with a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine and continued my studies in Kyoto, Japan where I learned specialized Japanese techniques. I also worked at a local acupuncture school, Dongguk University Los Angeles, and studied Korean-style acupuncture and herbal medicine as an apprentice to a master practitioner from Korea.
Before my journey into healthcare and eastern medicine practices, I attained a B.S. in Marketing & Statistics from Pennsylvania State University and embarked on a marketing research career in New York City. However, my career took an unexpected turn when I suffered a severe back injury and eventually had to undergo lumbar fusion in my early twenties. The pain caused by my injury and surgeries did not respond to traditional treatments, and a friend suggested I try acupuncture. It proved to be spectacularly effective. The tremendous relief I experienced through acupuncture inspired me to pursue a career in acupuncture.
Over the past several years, I have dedicated myself to this field, helping patients manage their pain, emotionally and physically, through acupuncture and traditional medicine. I look forward to each day that I get to spend in the clinic and enjoy figuring out the best possible treatment plans for my patients' needs. Aside from my career, I love to hike, read books of all genres, and long term art projects. Check Availability
