What is Community Hours Acupuncture?

It’s a special offering where we provide acupuncture at a reduced rate, focused on your primary health concern, during designated times each week. It’s designed to be more financially accessible while still giving you individualized care in a private treatment room.

When is Community Hours Acupuncture Available?

Mondays and Thursdays

How is this different from a regular acupuncture session?

Community Hours sessions are:

• Offered only during specific time blocks each week

• Slightly shorter than our full-length appointments

• Focused on one main concern (or a simple combination of related symptoms)

• Lower in cost to increase accessibility

Do I still get my own private room?

Yes. Unlike traditional community acupuncture models, Community Hours at our clinic still provide individual treatment rooms for quiet, comfort, and privacy.

Who is Community Hours best for?

This offering is ideal if you:

• Want more affordable access to acupuncture

• Are coming in for maintenance or wellness support

• Need stress relief or immune support

• Need access to more frequent care and relief

• Want to supplement your regular treatments

It’s also great for people who are new to acupuncture and want an approachable way to start.

What conditions can be treated during Community Hours?

Most conditions can be treated, but the session will focus on 1-2 main issues. For more complex concerns, such as chronic conditions requiring multi-system treatment, we recommend booking a regular appointment.

How long is the visit?

Community Hours sessions are typically 40 minutes total, though may vary slightly by 5-10 minutes.

How much do Community Hours appointments cost?

We created this offering to help make acupuncture more accessible to our community, while still providing a high level of support and care.

Initial Assessment + Treatment: $120   |    Follow Ups: $80

Do you bill insurance during Community Hours?

We can provide you with a SuperBill for your appointment. 

 

Can I use my FSA or HSA card?

Yes. Acupuncture is an eligible medical expense under most FSA and HSA plans.

Can I book these sessions online?

Yes! Community Hours Acupuncture will be visible in our online booking system. Sessions are limited and available only during specific time blocks each week. We recommend booking ahead to secure your space.

Can I switch between Community Hours and full-length sessions?

Absolutely. Many patients use Community Hours for maintenance or between regular appointments. You’re welcome to book whichever session type best meets your needs at the time.

Will I still get the same quality of care?

Yes. The treatment is more streamlined, but the quality of acupuncture and the intention behind your care remain the same. You’ll still receive a customized treatment designed specifically for your main concern that day.
